Fine huge 19th Century scene of Joseph II, Holy Roman Emperor visiting wounded soldiers, oil on canvas. Large scale and important history painting from the War of Austrian Succession depicting a young Joseph II visiting the wounded probably following the Battle of Rocoux. Excellent detail and important history and military painting. Signed indistcintly and presented in a wooden antique frame.
