Huge 18th Century Spanish Old Master of the Martyrdom of Saint Andrew, oil on canvas. Magnificent huge scale depiction of Saint Andrew tied to the X shaped cross knowing he will die and looking heavenwards where angels carry the crown of Martyrdom. The painting has some damage to the top corner of the stretched that has ripple the canvas but will easily retighten with a repair to the stretcher. Unframed.
