Large 19th Century Pre-Raphaelite portrait of a young red haired girl holding a rose, oil on canvas by Emma Sandys. Excellent quality and condition portrait of the girl holding a rose and wearing plumed hat. Signed top right and presented in its original antiwar gilt frame.

Emma Sandys was the daughter of Anthony Sandys. She was active between 1867 and 1874.
