Large 19th Century portrait of a young Breton girl holding her favorite doll, oil on canvas by David Adamson. Beautiful genre scene of the young girl in traditional attire admiring her doll. Signed and presented in a good gilt frame with original exhibition label verso. Excellent original condition.

British, 19th century, male.
Painter, watercolourist. Portraits, genre scenes.
David Adamson exhibited at London's Royal Academy in 1889 and 1893 and in Paris in 1891 and 1894.
