Fine 19th century English scene of a pair of Fox Terriers, oil on canvas by Alfred Went. Brilliant sporting scene with the pair, marvellously painted, wait patiently by the hole. Excellent detail in the coat and heads. Signed and framed. The piece was sold at Christies for $9,500 in 1991.
