Large 17th Century Italian Old Master depiction of Madonna Of The Harpies, oil on canvas. Magnificent large scale scene of the Madonna accompanied by Saint Bonaventure and Saint John The Evangelist. She stands upon a pedestal with harpies in relief that symbolise the evil of the world that the Madonna elevates above. Exceptional version of the painting similar to Andrea Del Sarto's most famous work that was praised by Vasari.
