Large 16th Century Elizabethan Court Portrait of Thomas Howard, 1st Earl Of Suffolk, oil on canvas. Half length portrait circa 1590 of the young Earl wearing a white doublet, ruff and black sash. He would later be appointed Lord High Treasurer during the reign of King James VI of England. Inscribed later in gold italics (top left) marking his year of death. Framed.
