Excellent detail and distinctly similar tot he works of leading painter on the subject Craddock. Original condition with no notable damage or extensive restorations. Good panel condition. Antique black and gilt frame. No visible signature common among works of thus age.
Cradock was a self taught painter from Somerset who later moved to London but deliberately shunned aristocrats patronage.
