Full length scene of Icarus with his wings opened heavenward for flight symbolic of the pride before the fall. Painted by an accomplished painter between the Romantic and Pre-raphaelite movement similar similar to Blake's work teaming the anatomical and the mythological. Excellent condition and presented in superb Neo-classical foliate gilt frame.
